Yves combines a first professional experience of 9 years in the financial sector, acquired with a top Belgian financial institution (BBL/ING), and a 9 years industrial experience with an important European industrial group (Saint-Gobain).

These cross sector experiences opened the way to the consultancy practice, which he started in 2002 with a leading audit and consulting firm (E&Y), before creating his own independent consultancy organization (Riskovery Consult), servicing both the private and the public sector.

Besides this, he developed various academic initiatives, as a lecturer and coordinator of risk management and internal control training programs, in partnership with leading academic institutions such as ICHEC Formations Continue, which is the hosting organization of the RIMAP accredited program DRM.

Since 2009 he also presides the internal control institute (ICIB) in Europe, with a passion to develop and promote leading risk management and internal control practices for all types of organizations
