
Valentina Paduano
Valentina Paduano has currently the role of ERM Specialist at Prysmian Group, world leader in the industry of high-technology cables and systems for energy and telecommunications, with sales of some €8 billion, subsidiaries in 50 countries, 91 plants, and 19,000 employees, listed at the Milan stock exchange.
She was born on January 10 1985 and at 23 got her university degree in Economics at the L. Bocconi University in Milan. She started her career at leading international consultancy companies, first Ernst & Young and afterwards Protiviti, where with the title of Senior Consultant she was engaged in Enterprise Risk Management projects, corporate governance, internal audit and compliance services with the Italian law 262/2005 and Legislative Decree 231/2001, Sarbanes Oxley-Act and Japanese-SOX.
In 2014, she joined Prysmian, where she manages the Group ERM process, reporting to the Group’s Chief Risk Officer. Since a few years Valentina is also studying law to get a second university degree in this discipline, with the aim of enlarging the background of her knowledge and her capability to analyze and manage the ERM topics since those topics are more and more related to legal and compliance issues
