After Rianne studied law, she joined a law firm as an attorney in the field of Insurance & Liability. As an attorney, she has dealt with several cases in the field of property, fraud, and liability (employer liability, director & officer liability, professional indemnity). She has been a member of the bar for five years.

Rianne has been a member of Eagle, a network of Insurance Attorneys worldwide and participated in several meetings in the US.
In 2008 while still a member of the Dutch bar, she joined a local broker as well. As a director of this organisation, she was responsible for – primarily – the claims handling department and broking liability.

In February 2010 she ended her career as an attorney and joined Crawford. Currently she is employed as Head of Liability for the Crawford CEMEA Region. In the Netherlands she’s heading their operational departments: Adjusting department in the field of Liability, Construction All Risk and Bodily Injury, and the claims management department Broadspire.

In 2012 she successfully finished the Grotius Academy, which is a post-university course for lawyers.
