Kristine is 46 years old and lives in Copenhagen, Denmark. She just joined Vestas as Entreprise Risk Manager and was previously Group Risk Manager at Copenhagen Airports A/S, where she oversaw the overall corporate risk exposure in terms of continuously assessments, monitoring, updating and reporting of the risk register to the management team, the Audit Risk Management Committee and the Board of Directors.
Kristine has several years of experience within risk management, mainly from her previous job as Senior Consultant and Manager at the global management consultancy firm, Deloitte, where she has built up strong skills within a broad range of risk management. She has been on numerous assignments reviewing and providing advice on process risk management, strategic risk management and Project Risk Management.
She has completed numerous projects in both private and governmental organizations within these areas, particularly within Risk Management and Project Risk Management of several recurring tasks and clients in both Denmark and abroad, with respect to the different cultures.
Her main priority and focus has been on the various assignments where the work has been concentrated on providing advice on approach and methods for identifying and assessing risks, as well as to subsequent measuring, monitoring and reporting of risks – always with an objective to get the methodology properly anchored throughout the organization.
Kristine has conducted quite a lot of courses with Risk Management both in Denmark and abroad with main focus on risk methodology, approach and the organizational anchoring of risk management. Finally Kristine has written articles on risk management and in 2016 she developed and launched a case study on risk management in Copenhagen Airport as a joined effort with University of St. Thomas in the US.
