Kathrin is Chief Risk Officer of Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty since 2011. Prior to this she was Chief Risk Officer of Allianz Risk Transfer (ART) as from 2005, where she headed the independent risk management and control function and was appointed to the Executive Board of ART in 2009. She joined Allianz in 2001 as Principal Underwriter, being in charge for pricing, structuring and underwriting alternative risk transfer transactions and later also worked as Portfolio Manager. Kathrin started her career as reinsurance pricing actuary for Zurich Financial Services where she ultimately headed the pricing department.

Kathrin is a Swiss citizen. She holds a Master’s Degree in Mathematics and a PhD in Computer Science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich as well as an MBA in Financial Services from University of St. Gallen.
