President of AMRAE and Director of Insurance and Risk Management for Thales, Brigitte Bouquot is an engineer by background with a doctorate from the Ecole des Mines in Paris. She began her career with IBM France, and became the finance director and secretary general of the joint venture between IBM France and Dassault Electronique. She moved to Thomson CSF, which later became Thales, at its privatisation. Since 2009, she has occupied various senior roles in risk and internal audit in Thales. Brigitte Bouquot was named a chevalier of the Légion d’Honneur in 2005.
