Bernadette is Australian, she joined Zurich in April 2015, after more than 20 years as a specialist construction broker.  Fifteen of those years were in the London market on Construction, roles included specialist construction PI broker, and responsibility for JLT’s Construction practice in Europe for major contractors and projects and leadership of the New Business Team.

Bernadette started her career in Australia in working on multinational Mining & Utility accounts for what was then known as Sedgwick, now Marsh, before moving to London and working on Power and Multinational programmes.

Bernadette works closely  with the London Engineering Lines Team and is responsible for managing the relationships with Customers & Brokers in the specialist construction sector to help the underwriting drive their new business.  She also leads the global Construction Industry Community group which shares best practice from around the world.
