Benno Reischel is Head of Europe at Lloyd’s including the UK and Ireland.

After a long international underwriting and management career with the German Gerling Insurance and Reinsurance Group in Germany, France and the UK, and subsequently as Managing Director and CEO in Southeast Asia, Benno Reischel spent two years working in the French insurance market based in Paris. He joined DaimlerChrysler Insurance and Risk Management Services as Head of the Asia Pacific Region in 2000 based in Singapore.

Before joining Lloyd’s in 2010, Benno Reischel played a leading role in establishing the Client Advocate model for Willis Group worldwide as Director for Client Advocacy International based in London since 2006.

He is President of Lloyd’s France SAL and holds board memberships on several other European Lloyd’s companies.
