Since 2005 Alessandro is the Chief Risk Officer of the Prysmian Group, world leader in the industry of high-technology cables and systems for energy and telecommunications, with subsidiaries in 50 countries, 91 plants, and 19,000 employees.

In this capacity, Alessandro’s main responsibility is to facilitate the overall ERM process of Prysmian Group in accordance with guidelines and regulations of the Group.

He’s also involved with “Project Risk Management” in the area of turn-key installation project of submarine and terrestrial high voltage and telecommunication cables,  implementing loss prevention policies,  “M&A risk ranagement”,  “supply chain risk management”,  designing and implementing the Groups’ insurance programs. Further he is Managing Director of Prysmian Reinsurance Company Ltd, the Group’s Captive domiciled in Dublin.
